Carving out a small space in infancy for big ideas.

Our mission is to bring progressive thinking to the newest generation, in a timely manner.  Simply put, our statement is “let babies be babies,” since they will have plenty of time to worry about identity, career, etc, etc, later on. Is there an implicit hypocrisy here?  Of course.  We are using babies to push the agenda of not using babies to push an agenda.  How do we live with ourselves?  Well, like anyone with an agenda, we think ours is important.

LGBabyT is committed to sustainability.  We offer organic and recycled options and plan to one day work with solely recycled materials. We use Environmentally friendly products, water-based inks, energy conserving lights and try to find multiple uses for every scrap of paper or fabric we come across.

LGBabyT donates 30% of its profits to organizations that support LGBT youth, education, and social equality for marginalized groups.

Some of our best friends are parents…

LGBabyT was founded by two doting aunts who were pretty certain that babies don’t enter this world with a love for pink or blue. We started screen printing gifts for our friends and family – witty non-conforming types who were displeased with what the market had to offer – and soon we found there were more and more of these types having babies. So, we thought why not use our liberal arts degrees in literature and sociology and, of course, our minors in gender studies, to make baby clothes?  We have yet to look back.

And Onesies for all

Our gender neutral designs combine provocative text with hand drawn sketches and photographic imagery.   All of our Onesies and Tees are super soft 100% cotton and are printed by hand with water-based inks. Our color palette is modern and diverse, however pink and blue (and all pastels actually) do not find their way onto our apparel.
